M&S Kids Easy Dressing Range

In what is said to be a high street first, M&S has launched a range of children’s clothing especially adapted for kids who may need a little extra help when getting dressed. The Kids Easy Dressing range was developed with customer research in mind, which revealed the need for affordable and accessible clothing for those caring for children with special needs.

Who is the M&S Kids Easy Dressing Range for?

Whether kids have feeding tubes, wheelchairs or simply need clothing that is quick and easy to put on, the M&S range has something to help make getting ready fun and uncomplicated!

All of the garments are extremely gentle on even the most sensitive skin and are designed to have as few seams as possible as well as hidden care labels for minimum irritation.

Clever & adaptable clothing features

There are endless useful features including rip-tape fastenings, to make wheelchair dressing as simple as possible, long rises and discreet pockets for feeding tubes.

Part of this range also includes bodysuits and trousers with leg openings and room for nappies to ensure quick changes. Detachable jackets and coats are also available to make undressing even easier.

The line includes tops, jumpers, trousers, dresses and jackets, all using bright colours and lively prints that children will love. When designing the range, M&S were mindful that disability does not define a child and so adaptations should be as subtle as possible.

The Easy Dressing range encourages inclusivity

To this end, all products are designed inclusively and modelled closely in the main collection. By having only small differences, for example in specific fabric to cater to those with sensory needs, kids are still able to wear the same clothing as their peers or siblings.

The campaign has been modelled by a number of models with varying disabilities ranging from cerebral palsy to down’s syndrome and hip dysplasia.

The full collection is now available to shop on the M&S website, with sizes ranging from three months up to seven years old and prices from £3-£36 pounds.
